New UK Poster For “Looper” Leads To Viral Website and New Image Alex Gerage, June 1, 2012 Rian Johnson’s latest film, Looper, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a time traveling hit-man, has just received a sleek and blue-tinted UK poster showcasing the film’s inanimate star: the time machine. It deserves your attention not only because it’s a gorgeous poster, but it also links to a brand new viral website for the film. Hit the jump to learn more. While IGN had the exclusive debut of the poster, FirstShowing received a tip that the number sequence on the door of the vault is actually a URL to a viral website. Indeed, 07153902935.com will take you to a page similarly designed to the poster, where you are treated to an embedded version of the teaser trailer, and an interactive version of the time machine. If you click it, you see a picture of what appears to be Jeff Daniels interrogating someone (maybe Paul Dano or Noah Segan? Doesn’t look like Gordon-Levitt to me).I expect the time machine viral to be the source of more content as we approach Looper’s September 28th theatrical release. Until then, I am actually more intrigued by what “Who is the rainmaker? 07153902935” stands for atop the viral website. Be sure to check back here for reaction and analysis as secrets are revealed.
