Comic-Con 2012: “Star Trek: The Next Generation” Blu-ray Interview Dan Koelsch, July 13, 2012 After the success of the HD transfer of Star Trek: The Original Series, fans clamored for the same treatment for The Next Generation. They’ll get their wish on July 24th, when the Blu-ray for Season 1 of Star Trek: TNG is released. At the San Diego Comic-Con 2012 panel, CBS showed some footage, and afterwards, I had a roundtable interview with some of the important men and woman who made it all possible.
