“The Wolverine” Finds New Way To Release First Footage Of The Film Christopher Moore, March 26, 2013March 26, 2013 Yesterday, the director of Marvel’s The Wolverine tweeted a six-second teaser via Twitter’s new video platform, Vine. Check out the teaser and find out why this breaks new ground with movie marketing after the break. The Wolverine director, James Mangold, tweeted what he called a “tweaser” yesterday via his Twitter account. The six-second video crams a lot of stuff into a small package with brief glimpses of samarais, sword-fighting, gunplay and Wolverine flying towards the camera. Many brands have already jumped on the bandwagon with Vine, but it will be interesting if The Wolverine’s approach opens the movie promotion floodgates for more bite-sized video-based content. The first twenty-second long trailer for The Wolverine was released today. It’s posted below: The full trailer is suppose to premiere on Wednesday. The Wolverine is scheduled for release on July 24th.
