We already know that Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ Godzilla is set to have some presence at Comic-Con. The monster remake opens in May of next year, and the San Diego convention this week is the perfect time to promote it. There is an off-site building that is sure to have something, and the newly discovered viral website is bound to be related to the convention. Now we have a video from director Gareth Edwards that teases the film’s big plans even more. Check it out after the break.

The Godzilla Encounter website has three articles so far, all with stories about “something” being out in the ocean. Each post has one or two letters in the headline colored red, which leads us to believe it’s some code. So far the letters, in order, are S, E, R, and I. Could it spell out a new URL or something related specifically to Comic-Con (as the latest article suggests)? We’ll have to wait and see. As soon as we know more, we’ll update you.
