Trailers Weekly: “Nebraska”, “Machete Kills”, “Blue Is The Warmest Color”, and “Snowpiercer”

TrailersWeekly

Trailers Weekly is a feature in which we bring you the most popular and talked about trailers of the week. Sharing trailers is a classic viral practice, and trailers are still the most mainstream way for people to learn about movies. We’ve got trailers from Nebraska, Machete Kills, Blue Is The Warmest Color, and Snowpierecer Hit the jump to see them all.

Nebraska
A delusional and seemingly apathetic father (Bruce Dern) has just become a millionaire, and his son (Will Forte) will trek across the country to claim the prize that he thinks doesn’t even exist. The film already premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, and is scheduled to hit theaters November 22. Nebraska is directed by Alexander Payne, and also stars Bob Odenkirk.

Machete Kills
Absurd, wacky, and outrageous, would not even begin to describe how crazy Machete Kills really is. The sequel to the cult hit puts Machete (Danny Trejo) against a crazed terrorist (Mel Gibson), who is bent on causing riots in every country. He also has some equally crazy assassins (Cuba Gooding Jr who is actually Lady Gaga in disguise, Sofia Vegra, Antonio Banderas, and more) to stop Machete. The Robert Rodriguez film also stars Charlie Sheen as the President of the United States, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, and Amber Heard.

Blue Is The Warmest Color
Based on Julie Maroh’s graphic novel, Blue Is The Warmest Color, follows chronicles the relationship of a lesbian couple. The film has ganared many awards from various film festivals like: Telluride, Cannes, and more. And because of its controversy, the film has earned a rare NC-17 rating. Sundance Selects brings the film to theaters on October 25th.

Snowpiercer
It’s class warfare aboard the Snowpiercer, with the passengers aboard the tail end of the massive train fighting to get to the front where passengers live a prosperous life. Chris Evans and Jamie Bell play the two passengers who lead their car full of disadvantaged and poor passengers to the front. The Weinsteind Co. has cut the film, much to the chagrin of those who are anxiously waiting to see what Joon-bo Bong’s first English directed film looks like. Ed Harris, John Hurt, Alison Pill star, as well as Tilda Swinton, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Bremner, Kang-ho Song and Luke Pasqualino. No word on when the Weinstein Co. will release the Snowpiercer, but we hope it’s very soon.
