Viral Video: Dancing Groot Scene From “Guardians Of The Galaxy” Michael Lee, August 14, 2014August 14, 2014 We are already nearing two weeks since the release of Guardians of the Galaxy, and true Marvel fans – all of whom should have told everyone not to leave the theater until the end of the credits by now – might have seen those hilarious extra credit scenes by now.But if you haven’t seen it yet, or for some reason could not stay until after the credits, then the following video may just be considered a spoiler, although, I wouldn’t consider it a huge spoiler. Yahoo! has released the extra scene of Groot dancing after the Guardians served their heroic duties. Hit the jump to see Groot bust a move, plus a few words from James Gunn, who was actually the inspiration behind the scene. Vin Diesel provided some of the motion capture and voice of Groot, but this final scene of Groot dancing was actually Gunn’s doing. Here’s the full quote from an interview with Yahoo!.Baby Groot dancing is 100 percent me. I was too embarrassed for anyone to be there, so I made everyone leave the room and I set up a camera and I videotaped myself dancing. Then I sent the video to the animators and had them animate over that. I begged them not to leak the video! He also have a video of Patrick Delahanty turning one of those dancing flower pots into a dancing Groot. Check out the video below. Delahanty provided a step-by-step method of creating your very own dancing Groot. Meanwhile it seems that Marvel has been discussing the possibility of one hitting store shelves.
