Video: ‘Star Wars Episode VII’ Video Reveals Hidden DC Comics Easter Egg Michael Lee, September 18, 2014 The rivalry between J.J. Abrams‘ Star Wars Episode VII and Zack Snyder‘s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. Recently Snyder took a shot at the Star Wars film by posting a photo of the culprit who reportedly stole the Batmobile last week. With the two trading punches, it was Abrams’ move. And did he land a big one. Not only did the Episode VII director use the opportunity to post a video revealing the exterior of the Millennium Falcon, but he also put in a hidden DC Easter Egg, which ups the ante, and forces Sndyer to do something bigger than a publicity stunt photo. Hit the jump to see the video. The video was posted on the Bad Robot Productions official Youtube Page. As you saw the video opens with Luke’s theme playing in the background, the camera gives us a detailed look at the iconic ship before moving to it’s belly, then the music starts to transition from John Williams to Hans Zimmer’s The Dark Knight theme, and the camera slowly pans up to reveal the Dark Knight Tumblr. This may be the latest strike in the social media war between the two, but this is the first that is a video, so it should be interesting to see what Snyder comes up with in his next attack. And here is a little history of the Twitter War between the two films, which started during last Comic-Con.#SuperJedi pic.twitter.com/PyNbELK8UZ— ZackSnyder (@ZackSnyder) July 24, 2014Bad Robot then responded with,#BOYEGAMAN pic.twitter.com/AZUHvn9VFF— Bad Robot (@bad_robot) July 25, 2014Snyder then tweeted out,BATMAN & R2BIN @bad_robot pic.twitter.com/yWPmGPKJ3f— ZackSnyder (@ZackSnyder) August 2, 2014Which was then followed by,THE C3PED CRUSADER @ZackSnyder pic.twitter.com/wh0m6GF15p— Bad Robot (@bad_robot) August 8, 2014Then Snyder used a Batmobile was stolen hoax to strike back,Case closed. pic.twitter.com/fVyENoksFp— ZackSnyder (@ZackSnyder) September 13, 2014And now we are here, at this video. It’s great to see that the two directors are having fun with this. Can’t see any reason to complain considering we are getting fun looks at the characters. Sure Superman as a Sith Lord probably won’t make it into the film, but the photos and videos being released now, are pushing the directors to reveal more cool things from the set. Both Star Wars Episode VII and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice are shooting now. The former is set for a December 2015 release, while the latter is set for a March 2016 release. News Social Networks Batman v. Superman: Dawn of JusticeStar Wars: Episode VIITwitterYouTube
