Extended ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ “Rogue Cut” To Be Released Summer 2015 Michael Lee, September 26, 2014September 26, 2014 One of the problems of having a huge roster in an ensemble superhero film is trying to find enough screentime for characters. Though Rogue (Anna Paquin) had a subplot in X-Men: Days Of Future Past, that was eventually cut from the theatrical cut, due to time constraints and being plot-heavy. However, we will be able to see that subplot in the upcoming DVD/Blu-ray release of the film.The studio will be releasing an extended version of X-Men: Days of Future Past called the “Rogue Cut.” It will feature 10 minutes of extra footage, and will hit store sheleves in an unannounced summer 2015 date. We want to give (fans) the fullest picture of the film — behind the camera, and in front of it. … Every movie has scenes that are cut out, but not every movie has scenes cut out with such a beloved character.It should be interesting to see how this cut will help the film.
