One of the best things about 22 Jump Street is that is was willing to be a parody of itself. That kind of self-awareness is rare to see in a comedy sequel, and with directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, they decided to up the ante by adding an end credit sequence mocking the idea of future potential sequels.
If you have already seen the film, then you know what’s coming; but if you haven’t, it wouldn’t do us any good by posting them up as the header image, that would just be spoiling the joke. So instead, you can check out a few of our favorite sequel ideas after the jump.

We know that another Jump Street movie is in development, with Lord and Miller leaving the franchise as directors, but staying on as producers. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill will also be producers, and are expected to reprise their roles as Schmidt and Jenko. We know that sequels are unoriginal, and it’s fun to see Lord and Miller play around with that idea by turning it into a running gag. But if they ever need one, I’m sure they will look to their own end credits to crack the script for the third Jump Street film.
