The First Trailer For ‘Chappie’ Is Here Connor Behrens, November 4, 2014November 4, 2014 The first trailer for Neill Blomkamp’s third feature film has finally arrived online. Chappie stars Hugh Jackman (X-Men: Days of Future Past), Dev Patel (The Newsroom), Sigourney Weaver (Avatar), Sharlto Copely (District 9) and South African rapper-duo Die Antwoord. Blomkamp has written the screenplay along with his ‘District 9’ partner, Terri Tatchell. More after the jump! The upcoming science fiction film looks to offer more of the dingy tone and visual flair that Blomkamp has become known for since the success of ‘District 9’ and ‘Elysium’. We at MovieViral expect Chappie to have a viral presence much like Blomkamp’s previous two films.Check out the official trailer below in high definition: The plot reads as follows:“Every child comes into the world full of promise, and none more so than Chappie: he is gifted, special, a prodigy. Like any child, Chappie will come under the influence of his surroundings – some good, some bad – and he will rely on his heart and soul to find his way in the world and become his own man. But there’s one thing that makes Chappie different from anyone else: he is a robot. The first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself. His life, his story, will change the way the world looks at robots and humans forever.”Chappie opens everywhere in theaters on March 6th, 2015. News Viral Marketing ChappieMovie TrailerNeil Blomkamp
