New Version of DIY ‘Back to the Future’ Power Laces Look Ready To Sell

Last month we told you about Blake Bevin’s design for a auto-lacing shoe that was inspired by the Power Laces in Back to the Future II. After Nike filed a patent for something similar, Bevin went back and perfected his design, moving the bulky external servo to the heel to conceil it. If you want to see these shoes go into production, donate to Bevin’s Kickstarter fund. Check out the demo video of his prototype after the break.
