New ‘Office’ Webisodes to Premiere October 21st Alex Gerage, October 4, 2010 Many fans of The Office will argue that one of the highlights of last season had nothing to do with the show’s televised episodes, but rather The Office webisode titled “Subtle Sexuality.” The hilarious music video and subsequent viral campaign promoting it featured some of the show’s minor characters that don’t normally receive a lot of attention – most notably Kelly and Erin. NBC has now released a teaser trailer and more info about this season’s webisode series, “The 3rd Floor.” Hit the jump for more info. NBC’s press release explains that the “The 3rd Floor” is a horror film project from Ryan Howard (does he ever do actual work?), and employs the help of several of his coworkers. The premiere webisode will be online Thursday, October 21st, but the network has launched the film’s website, www.thethirdfloormovie.com, which houses a brief teaser that shows what fans can expect. While the footage is brief, the series’ arrival just days before Halloween should be fun. Plus, the appearances by Kevin, Kelly, Meredith, and Erin give me hope that this online series will provide a lot of laughs. We will be sure to post more developments about “The 3rd Floor” in the days leading up to its online release. Viral Marketing Viral Videos NBCThe 3rd FloorThe Officewebisodes
