Fan Made Poster For “Carrie” Remake Gets Director’s Attention Dan Koelsch, April 5, 2012 Brian De Palma’s 1976 horror film Carrie is just one of the more recent classic films to get a remake, which is due out next year. The new film stars Chloë Moretz (Kick-Ass, Let Me In) in the titular role, and is being directed by Boys Don’t Cry helmer Kimberly Peirce.
