YouTube Tuesday: BriTANicK Dan Koelsch, April 24, 2012April 24, 2012 We at MovieViral know our viral videos pretty well, so we decided to share our knowledge to those looking to expand their Internet horizons. YouTube Tuesday is a weekly feature where we shine the spotlight on our favorite YouTube channels related to movies and television. We focus on channels that provide new videos on a regular basis, especially ones that we feel need more exposure. This week we are featuring the comedy duo BriTANicK. BriTANicK (rhymes with “Titanic”) was formed in 2008 by childhood friends Brian McElhaney and Nick Kocher. The two went to NYU together and have been making sketch comedy bits online ever since. As of the writing of this piece, their YouTube channel has over 90,000 subscribers and over 16 million total video views. Their most popular video is the “Academy Award Winning Movie Trailer” (shown below), which went viral in March 2010 after being featured on Cracked (We wrote about it as well). While the duo may not produce content as often as many YouTubers (only 28 videos in 4 years), this is definitely a quality over quantity scenario. Each of their skits are hilarious, though sometimes pretty weird. Find out more about the BriTANicK, including info on their upcoming live shows in New York, on their official website. Check out their latest video, titled “The Kiss”, below. Fan Made Work Features Viral News Viral Videos YouTube Tuesday BritanickYouTubeYouTube Tuesday
