But one film wasn’t feeling the love, and that film isn’t even out in theaters yet.Off the heels of the Twitter Overhype internet spot that hit the web last week, the Disney marketing team debuted a new Muppets Most Wanted TV spot that targeted (in jest) and aired on the Golden Globes. Hit the jump to check it out.Fans are expressing their outrage over Muppets Most Wanted being snubbed at this year’s Golden Globes, taking to twitter to let the world know how they feel. Some tweeters are even getting into tweeting spats with each other by attacking spelling and grammar usage. This time it’s @hotfudge1218, whose name is Doc Teeth, which is a clever play on Doctor Teeth. You’ll also see a tweet, from RichPlaya33, that pokes fun at bots and spammers encouraging twitter users to click on their links if they want to make a quick buck. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais.Directed by James Bobin (The Muppets) Muppets Most Wanted also stars Golden Globe host Tina Fey, as well as Ty Burrell, Ricky Gervais, Ray Liotta, and many more. Walt Disney Studios will release the film in theaters on March 21, 2014. Viral Marketing Viral News DisneyMuppets Most Wanted
