Will We See More Hulk? Dan Koelsch, August 3, 2009August 3, 2009 There has been a lot of talk in recent days about the future of Ed Norton’s Incredible Hulk in the Marvel movie universe. The film blog Nuke The Fridge first broke the story that Ed Norton may appear in Iron Man 2 as both Bruce Banner and the Hulk. I was highly doubtful because I could not find anything to substantiate this claim, and there has been some speculation that Norton wasn’t too happy with Marvel over the Hulk film, though the feud may have been blown out of proportion. Now, however, Ed Norton himself has added fuel to the fire. IGN asked Norton about the future of the Hulk:When asked about the rumor that the Hulk will appear in The Avengers, Norton was coy. “I probably won’t comment on that, just because they [Marvel] keep a pretty tight reign on what they are letting out. I’ll let them say,” he replied FirstShowing speculates that this could possibly mean Norton’s in the Avengers and isn’t allowed to say, or he isn’t in it, but still can’t say (which seems less likely too me). Everyone wants to see more of the Hulk, but even Avengers Producer Kevin Feige appeared to dance around the issue when he revealed the Avengers line up. What do you think? Will Norton be back? Like we said in the Podcast, if they have characters from the Hulk universe in The Avengers, they have to cameo the Hulk himself. And if you’re going to have the Hulk in a movie like this in the first place, he should be a main character, not a cameo.
