2012: News We Can Use? Scott Caldwell, September 11, 2009September 11, 2009 A while back, I mentioned that was there a possibility of more viral sites based on the 2012 campaign. This being from the pyramids that were given to those who completed the leadership testing. Well, not to toot my own horn, but…… TOOT!Charlie Frost tweeted as well as posted an update on his blog, ThisIsTheEnd.com. It seems as if there a new site up that has been posting a couple articles in the area of 2012 news.News Done Right is mentioned by Mr. Frost as being “on the ball”. Well, three articles do not really put them on top of their game, but I have a feeling this will bring us answers in regards to the mentioned codecs from my previous article. You can also get the breakdown of all 10 codecs on Charlie’s blog. Now it’s been pointed out in the forum (here) that this site does not have the usual look to the “experience” links that Sony gives us on all of the other viral sites. This however could be that most viral campaigns have that one site that doesn’t really fit the lineup like D-9’s MathsfromOuterSpace or Cloverfield’s Missing Teddy Hansen. We did check into it, and it is in fact owned by Sony Pictures so one can hope that this will bring us more pieces. So we can add this to the ongoing list of viral sites, along with the phone number hack we listed last week. There have since been a few more messages left for Dr. Ulfert. Take a listen when you have a chance. One gentlemen seems a little scared. I wonder why. What do you think, a new site for updates, or just filler? Let us know what you think. 2012 opens November 13th in the US. Viral Marketing 2012CloverfieldDistrict 9

My tweet was used by WB for The Conjuring last year. But if a film is critically panned, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a marketing team resort to using tweets on… Read More
CBS Wants To Give You $5,000 For Your Horatio Impression! January 25, 2010January 25, 2010CBS’s hit show CSI has spawned off two spin-offs so far. If there is one thing that we can say the network’s CSI: Miami has left behind as an enternal legacy, it’s the extremely cheesy openers featuring Horatio Caine (played meticiously by David Caruso). Why are they so memorable? Well,… Read More

Despite this, the fan base has remained strong all these years; so strong that Viacom-released DVDs with unaired episodes have come out with above average sales.
