Alice: Photos and Video of the Takeover Dan Koelsch, December 4, 2009 This morning was the ‘White Rabbit Takeover’, where (among other things) people dressed like rabbits in suits and walked around New York City. Why, you ask? It was a promotional event for SyFy’s new original mini-series “Alice”, based of course on the famous “Alice in Wonderland”. Yesterday we posted pictures of the set-up, and today we have actual pictures and even a video of the event. Take a look. The video we have is the rabbits doing a step routine in Washington Square. So, what do you think of the White Rabbit Takeover? Does it look like it was effective? The four-hour movie event “Alice” premieres Sunday, December 6, at 9PM (ET/PT) and stars Academy Award-winner Kathy Bates (Misery) as the Queen of Hearts and Caterina Scorsone (Crash television series) as Alice. I think it was effective. Saw 3 rabbits today in midtown and got me to google this to figure out what was going on… figured it was some viral thing, but since I had not heard about the mini-series, peaked my interest!
I was sad because I was looking forward to this for a few months now. I don;t have SyFy. Then I got excited last ngiht when I saw an ad for it on another channel! I saw it and it was great! can’t wait for the other parts!
