New Lady Gaga Music Video Influenced by Quentin Tarantino and Others Dan Koelsch, March 13, 2010 Singer Lady Gaga is known for having a unique style when it comes to everything from fashion to music videos. Her latest video for the song “Telephone”, which features Beyonce, is no exception. It’s more like a confusing, psychedelic short film than a music video, and it takes cues from several iconic movie industry sources, including Quentin Tarantino. Find out more, and watch the video, after the jump. You can see Tarantino’s influence just by watching the music video. The “Pussy Wagon” in the video is the exact same as that from Tarantino’s Kill Bill, as Gaga herself confirmed to E! Online.“There certainly is a Tarantino-inspired quality in the video,” she says. “I mostly love the way he uses different forms to create something new. His direct involvement in the video came from him lending me the Pussy Wagon. We were having lunch one day in Los Angeles and I was telling him about my concept for the video and he loved it so much he said, ‘You gotta use the Pussy Wagon.'” I didn’t realize Tarantino and Gaga were such good friends. Slashfilm also points out the apparent influence of the 1974 film Caged Heat on the video. Watch “Telephone” below. What do you think of the music video? Does it push the boundaries of movies and music, or does it just push your buttons? Let us know in the comments below. Viral Marketing BeyonceKill BillLady GagaQuentin TarantinoTelephone

I absolutly love Beyonce ‘s music! She is a great solo singer but I totally wish Destiny’s Child would get back together.
I truly adore Lady Gaga with her extraordinary dresses however she really let herself down now being seen out in see through undergarments.
