Viral Tidbits: Cageflix, Batman Fan Film, and Demand a Grease Sing-A-Long Dan Koelsch, June 19, 2010November 23, 2010 There’s always some smaller viral news at that slip through the cracks, so we like to scoop them up from time to time. Today we have a very important Netflix app involving Nicolas Cage, a Batman fan film involving Arkham Asylum, and your chance to demand a Grease Sing-A-Long event. Do you need to watch EVERY movie Nicolas Cage has done, but don’t have the time to put them all in your Netflix Queue? Well now you can do it with one simple click! All sarcasm aside, a site called Wonder-Tonic has created a page where you can do just that, calling it “Cageflix.” Batman fans seem to be the most cinematic, as all the interesting superhero fan films I’ve seen revolved around the caped crusader. Batman: Dead End is a prime example of the effort that goes into these projects. Now, a new short film on the Dark Knight has popped up, this time written and directed by Aaron Schoenke. It was shot in 21 days for $27,000, and revolved around the Joker escaping Arkham Asylum (original much?). Watch it below. Finally, you all know about the Demand It feature on Eventful, and now it’s being used to get the 1978 high school musical Grease back in theaters in a sing-a-long format. Check out the promotional video for it below. Fan Made Work Viral News Viral Videos BatmanCageflixDemand ItFan MadeGreaseNicolas CageViral video
