Comic-Con: Import This Great Offsite Events Calendar Dan Koelsch, July 5, 2010July 11, 2010 Keeping up with the Kardashians is astronomically easier than keeping up with all the events that occur during Comic-Con in San Diego. Fortunately, there are some tools to help you keep it all together. One of those is calendar of all the off-site events from an unofficial Comic-Con blog. Sometimes the most exciting things to do at Comic-Con are the events that aren’t even in the San Diego Convention Center. Probably the best example of this comes from last year’s convention. Disney opened an actual Flynn’s Arcade as part of their marketing campaign for Tron Legacy. The year before that, District 9 had fake protesters outside the convention. So, it’s definitely worth it to know what’s going on outside the walls. Fortunately, the San Diego Comic Con Unofficial Blog has been keeping good tabs on all of the off-site events for this year’s Con. They have even developed a convenient calendar with all the events. You can download it to your Google calendar, iCal, and Microsoft Outlook. Be sure to check the site out for other good info, as well as updates to these and more events. We at MovieViral will be covering San Diego Comic-Con 2010 LIVE from the floor of the convention (and wherever good news takes us), and we’ll have pictures, video, audio, and much more. Our focus will be on viral marketing as always (especially Tron), but we’ll be covering all the news we can. Want us to cover something specific? Let us know in the comments below! Be sure to check back next week for our official Comic-Con 2010 Preview, and we’ll continue to bring you all the news leading up to the event. Follow our full continuous coverage here, and email us if you find anything yourself! Comic-Con Conventions Events CalendarComic-Con
