“Real Steel” Trailer Debuts Online Dan Koelsch, May 10, 2011 We’ve been covering the slow progression of the background-heavy viral campaign for Real Steel, but now we finally get to see the first full theatrical trailer for the robot boxing movie from director Shawn Levy. Watch it after the break. Real Steel stars Hugh Jackman as a washed up boxer who has to train a robot to fight in order to pay off his debts and gain the respect of his son. Set in the near future where robots box instead of humans, we’ve learned quite a bit about the World Robot Boxing league. The Walt Disney film opens in theaters on October 7th.
