Comic-Con 2011: Friday Blog Dan Koelsch, July 23, 2011 On the second day of San Diego Comic-Con (third for me), I have already started to feel the exhaustion that usually doesn’t set in until Saturday. Yesterday morning I woke up feeling like crap, but I persevered. Get the scoop on my day after the break. Since I knew I wasn’t getting into The Walking Dead panel (the line was insanely long, partially because Torchwood was panel before), I headed over to Hall H, where I fortunately had Jackie Tuttle holding a spot in line for me. I checked out the panels for The Adventures of Tin Tin and Relativity Media. Tin Tin panel was great because director Steven Spielberg was there with surprise guest Peter Jackson, a producer on the film. The movie itself looks good, though I’m not that familiar with the European comic it’s based on. The footage apparently isn’t fully finished, but it still looked fantastic. I’ll have video of that panel up sometime today. Relativity brought footage for Haywire and The Raven, both of which look very different and intriguing. The action scene we saw for Haywire was brutal, and you can hear the audience reaction in the video I’ll post sometime today.I then did roundtable interviews and press conferences for 30 Minutes or Less, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Fright Night. I’ll have audio of those (except for Ghost Rider) up sometime this weekend. After that I walked the exhibition floor for a bit. I had some plans to do more stuff, but instead I hung out with friends and called it a night.Tomorrow I’ll be live blogging from Hall H (Gods willing), so be on the look out for that. As always, check out our Flickr for my latest photos, and follow all our Comic-Con coverage by clicking here. Comic-Con Conventions Events Comic-Con
