Help Edgar Wright Decide What To Screen At “Films Edgar Has Never Seen”

Director Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim) needs you to plan his next event! With the help of some very famous friends, Edgar has compiled a list of film’s he has not yet had the pleasure of viewing. This list is now public and he’s asking you to help choose which eight films should be screened at the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles as part of “Films Edgar Has Never Seen”. Ah, what I would give to be Edgar Wright. Not too long ago, the writer/director/producer/sexy man went out and asked Quentin Tarantino, Daniel Waters, Bill Hader, John Landis, Guillermo Del Toro, Joe Dante, Judd Apatow, Joss Whedon, Greg Mottola, Schwartzman, Doug Benson, Zach Oldenburg (I wish), Rian Johnson, Larry Karaszeski, Josh Olson, Harry Knowles, and others to send him their lists of absolute must see films. Pretty interesting list, eh? From what I’ve heard, he’s already chosen The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension for a midnight screening and, because Gone With the Wind is 4 hours, if it gets picked it’ll be the only thing that screens that evening.

The list is sorted from most recommended to least, so scan over it again and give him your choices. The event itself will run from December 9-16. That’s four nights, 8 films, all for our friend Edgar Wright.
