Marvel: Avengers Alliance takes place after “The Pulse”, a galaxy-wide disaster that exposes Manhattan to attacks from some of Marvel’s most powerful villains. As a player, you will be recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. to assemble and lead a team of Avengers to keep New York City safe from super villains such as Dr. Doom, Loki and the Green Goblin. You’ll also be able to challenge your friends in PvP battles!

The game is currently in private beta, but they’re always letting more people in. To sign up for the beta, you must like the Marvel: Avengers Alliance page on Facebook. The game is expected to launch sometime in the next three months from Disney Interactive Media Group’s Playdom Studios.
