Strange Noises Heard Around The World Could Have Scientific Explanation Dan Koelsch, January 27, 2012January 27, 2012 Earlier this week, we reported on a phenomenon sweeping the Internet in which strange noises were heard around the world. These roars/groans from the sky are a bit frightening, which may have contributed to videos of the occurance flooding YouTube (along with many hoaxes). While we considered the idea that the sounds were some kind of marketing ploy, we now have at least one scientific explanation that might resolve this issue. Find out after the jump. I was surfing YouTube last night when I found the video below. It’s a news report from Canadian channel CTV that talks about the sounds.The professor in the clip explains that the sounds are coming from the Aurora Borealis (aka the Northern Lights) causing electromagnetic noise within nearby environmental antennas. It sounds a bit like the Roswell weather ballon explanation to me, especially since these noises have not been heard before (at least not recently, since this is the first time the Internet has been up in arms about it). First, Jesus said that his coming will be unknown to man. Second, 2012 is a myth because many people have already predicted the end of the world, the Maya thought in cycles, so when the calendar ends it simply restarts the cycle. also i believe that this is a perfectly reasonable explanation for the noise.

it’s true that alot of people have not heard this noise at all. I haven’t even heard this noise or knew about it until I saw a video of it on youtube. Is this even true or is it all a hoax?
When first hearing about these noises, i thought it was a hoax until I heard them for myself on January 25 at about 11am. I live in northern Alberta and see the northern lights quite often and have never heard any noises associated with them. The sounds I heard happened during daylight hours after I came off a night shift. The night before, the lights put on a good show, but there was no sounds until long after the sun came up.
I have heard the noises before, I was out in western Canada it was about 1993 and there was a huge Northern Lights show that night.and I could hear noises coming from the sky. Back then it was thought that the northern lights were caused from reflections off the ice caps. When I heard noises coming from them I knew then that it wasn’t a true explanation.So I agree that these sounds are from the current and past Solar Flares. Alot of tge videos shown show an overcast sky so you won’t actually see the lights but you will hear them. But I could be wrong.
Scientists in 1993 did not think that the Aurora Borealis was a reflection off the ice caps, not a chance, you are talking out your ass moron…sounds like something “you” thought was true, unless you are calling your uncle joe and dad drinking beer in the garage scientists
The South Pole ( The Antarctic) has what is called Aurora Australis ” The Southern Lights” – In the North they are called the Aurora Borealis “The Northern Lights” Here is a Quote from Wikipedia Its southern counterpart, the aurora australis (or the southern lights), has almost identical features to the aurora borealis and changes simultaneously with changes in the northern auroral zone [6] and is visible from high southern latitudes in Antarctica, South America, New Zealand and Australia. Just a Head’s Up. I think that the Solar Storm that happened or was Happening is a pretty good explanation.
How strange the sound and noise, it has me thiking, what if, what will and what now? All I know is that we need to be ready for whatever is coming. Scared, not really, but it does sound pretty freaky.
