Strange Noises Heard Around The World Could Have Scientific Explanation Dan Koelsch, January 27, 2012January 27, 2012 Earlier this week, we reported on a phenomenon sweeping the Internet in which strange noises were heard around the world. These roars/groans from the sky are a bit frightening, which may have contributed to videos of the occurance flooding YouTube (along with many hoaxes). While we considered the idea that the sounds were some kind of marketing ploy, we now have at least one scientific explanation that might resolve this issue. Find out after the jump. I was surfing YouTube last night when I found the video below. It’s a news report from Canadian channel CTV that talks about the sounds. The professor in the clip explains that the sounds are coming from the Aurora Borealis (aka the Northern Lights) causing electromagnetic noise within nearby environmental antennas. It sounds a bit like the Roswell weather ballon explanation to me, especially since these noises have not been heard before (at least not recently, since this is the first time the Internet has been up in arms about it). What do you think? Is this a good explanation? Viral Marketing Viral News Cloverfield 2GodzillaStrange NoisesViral video

These people think people are still retarded, no sir i don’t believe your sci fi bull arora, we always had an aroura so what the deal now? people find out for yourselves, use reason, the why now factor and who or what gains buy broadcasting this noise? follow the stink.
Some reasons the theory might be right 1. Since last year there has been a now batch of solar flares, and its one of the worst/strongest in I believe 75 years. 2. Since the last large solar flare event there were very few antenna especially the very large commerical/scientific antenna 3. YouTube and the internet are fairly recent methods of communication. Note there are hardly any mainstream media news articles on this 4. There is a map someone created of the occurances and 90% of the reports are in North America and Western Europe, closest to the auroura 5. On the map there is not one since report in Africa and barely any reports from Russia and ChinaSo what we you saying about using reason again? One needs facts and enough of the right facts to reason on.
The Almighty is trying to get our attention but if we are not listening we might just end up like those in Noah’s day! Animals are reacting, sounds familiar?
Oh man, now we are worrying about sounds? Good grief! people wake up, there has to be some sort of explination for it, just because it’s new doesn’t mean the world is in trouble, or there is so called ,”Sign”. God will leave no signs, when he comes, it’ll be unknown, please people, stop scaring others and look on the internet, in the proper areas where professionals will tell you the truth about such things. God, get over your fears, it’s driving me crazy. Just live your life and let the professionals tell us what to worry and not worry about.
I honestly heard the sounds on and off over a period of a couple of weeks in early March. I live just 30 miles north of Tampa. Obviously there are no Aurora Borealis phenom here in Florida. I have never heard it before in my life (54 years). It sounded a bit like a very large jet banking very hard and throttling his engines but I could tell that it was not a plane and I didn’t see any planes in the sky at the time. It was identical to the sounds that occurred in Tallahassee and St. Petersburg, FL. Until I went to YouTube sometime in April, I was not aware that people heard the exact same sound at a Rays evening game. Apparently that took place sometime in 2011. The Rays play baseball 45 minutes south of my location in St. Petersburg, FL! MacDill AFB is probably 10 miles or so across the bay from St. Petersburg and 35 miles south from me. I would not have heard anything from MacDill. Jets commonly fly over the bay as they approach the Tampa airport but those sounds are very easy to distinguish from this one. In fact the direction of the sound, though hard to detect, came in the direction just north of Clearwater though it sounded very close to my location. I have not heard it since the second week of March and I’ve actually been listening for it! LOL
I read somewhere that an earthquake followed soon after the noises in Canada. It could be pressure being released underground with the constantly shifting plates. Also something to consider is that scientist have been sending radio signals into space for years now. What if this is a response from other life forms?
i for one dont believe in a lot but i also believe in a lot weird to say it like that i believe it could be anything the different sounds could only be because sound destorts over great lands of area or it could be that the would got hit by some kind of sound traveling at light speed from some where else does that mean aleins are real no the only way we could believe that is if they showed them selfs and people would still aposs the idea no one wants change good or bad the the plates moving might make a sound like that but i think the sound would have been strongest near the break in the soil(or earth for the matter) so in less the sound was greatest there i dont think thats it but im noprofesssional and it could be it but the plates would have have to hit each other all at the same moment and had the same problem for it to be heard all around the world or maybe the the ozone layer was trying to recreat its self at a higher rate of speed its the first time its been this breaken so that would explaion the first time being heard for all we know the world could be tring to adjust to our rapid i dont have the reasouces or the skill level to prove any of this through
Ever hear of HAARP? HAARP can produce aurora like effects in the sky.I suggest watching Holes in the Heavens to get an idea of its other abilities.
