Submit Your Funny Roommate Story To Win Free Rent From ABC’s “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23”

Dan Koelsch, April 3, 2012April 3, 2012

ABC’s new sitcom Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23 debuts on April 11th, and to promote the new long-titled comedy, the network has taken to YouTube. By submitting your funny roommate story on the video website, you could win $5,000 to use towards rent or whatever else you want. Get the details, as well as a parody commercial with the great James Van Der Beek, after the break.

The series follows June (Dreama Walker) as she moves to New York City and ends up having to move in with a con-artist, party-girl named Chloe (Krysten Ritter), the Bitch that the show’s title alludes to.

Between the roommates, their friends (like James Van Der Beek as himself), and their neighbors, there are plenty of funny stories to tell. ABC has created a YouTube Page called Don’t Trust the B Stories, where you can submit your own funny roommate stories for a chance to win $5,000. Read the complete rules here.

ABC has also created a parody commercial featuring Van Der Beek, in which the self-assured celebrity sells his own brand of jeans.
