Trailers Weekly: “G.I. Joe Retaliation”, “Brave”, “Lawless”, “This is 40” Michael Lee, April 28, 2012December 27, 2012 Trailers Weekly is a feature in which we bring you the most popular and talked about trailers of the week. Sharing trailers is a classic viral practice, and trailers are still the most mainstream way for people to learn about movies. Today we have trailers G.I. Joe Retaliation, Brave, Lawless, and This is 40. Hit the jump to see them all.G.I. Joe: Retaliation We recently have been seeing some viral activity for G.I. Joe Retaliation in the form of a Cobra recruitment program. In addition to the new viral, we saw two brand new trailers from the movie which will open in theaters on June 29th 2012. So if you are interesting in seeing the cinematic destruction of London or Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson kicking ass, then check these trailers out.Brave The previous trailers for Brave have been more character centric, but this newest one focuses on the family and plot of the dangers of changing your fate. Brave looks absoutely incredible, and it looks like Pixar is back on their feet after the release of the horrendous Cars 2. Lawless Tom Hardy and Shia Labeouf seems like an odd pairing at first, but when you watch the first trailer for Lawless, it will look like a perfect match. The two brothers trying to make their American dream come true by running an legal alcohol business during Prohibition. The film also stars Gary Oldman, Jessica Chastain, Guy Pearce and Mia Wasikowska. Lawless opens in theaters on August 31st. This is 40 Hailed as the so-called sequel to Knocked Up, This is 40 follows follows Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) as they come to terms with getting old. This doesn’t seem as funny as Knocked Up for The 40-Year-Old Virgin, but the trail has its moments. So hopefully there will be more to come as we get closer to its Christmas Day release date. The movie also stars Jason Segel and Melissa McCarthy. What did you think of this week’s trailers? Which was your favorite? Do you agree with the Internet buzz?
