Featured App: The Muppets Band-Aid AR App

Caleb Hamilton, May 24, 2012May 24, 2012

The Muppets exploded onto the big screen last Thanksgiving and had a very successful run. There’s talk of a sequel coming within the next couple of years. But if you can’t wait that long, Johnson & Johnson have created a special app which interacts with their Band-Aids to bring The Muppets to life!!

The Band-Aid Magic-Vision App uses augmented reality to project 3D Muppets characters onto a special Band-Aid. Your kids (and you, if you’re a huge Muppets fan) will completely forget about the cut or scrap beneath the Band-Aid as they focus on Kermit singing “Rainbow Connection”, Ms. Piggy strutting down the red carpet or Gonzo being shot out of a cannon. The app is free in the Apple App Store and works on all iOS devices.
