BMW Mini Pays Homage to “The Italian Job” With Short Film Dan Koelsch, June 18, 2012June 18, 2012 The 1969 British caper The Italian Job famously featured the Mini Cooper prominently, instantly etching the car in cinema and cultural history. BMW now owns the brand, and they have created a short film called “The Britalian Job” to pay homage to the film, as well as promote their partnership with Team GB and ParalympicsGB for the London 2012 Olympics.
