YouTube Tuesday: Above Average Productions Dan Koelsch, August 14, 2012August 13, 2012 We at MovieViral know our viral videos pretty well, so we decided to share our knowledge to those looking to expand their Internet horizons. YouTube Tuesday is a weekly feature where we shine the spotlight on our favorite YouTube channels related to movies and television. We focus on channels that provide new videos on a regular basis, especially ones that we feel need more exposure. This week we are featuring the comedy channel Above Average. Above Average Productions is actually part of Saturday Night Live executive producer Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video Company. As the channel states:Above Average, a digital arm of Broadway Video, is your home for original short form comedy and includes talent and writers from favorites such as Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock, The Lonely Island and the best of YouTube. Each weeknight has an episode of a different web series, including “Rejected Pitches”, which we’ve featured on our Viral Video Round-Up, and my favorite, “Puppet High”. They have just barely 14,000 subscribers and less than 2 million total video views, but there’s a lot of great content on the channel, so be sure to check it out. Watch the first episode of Puppet High below.More YouTube TuesdayGlove and Boots | Freddie Wong | Film Riot & Film State | BriTANicK | Legolambs | Genrocks | Epic Rap Battles of History | AndrewMFilms | VFX Bro | How It Should Have Ended | DJ Steve Porter | Pogo | The Fine Bros | Corridor Digital | Samseed85 | Alamo Drafthouse Features Social Networks YouTube Tuesday Above AverageViral videoYouTubeYouTube Tuesday
