Graphic Designer Creates Viral Video As Job Application for Joss Whedon’s “S.H.I.E.L.D.” Series

Caleb Hamilton, September 24, 2012September 24, 2012

Adam Levermore has created propaganda posters for Battlestar Galactica, officially licensed travel posters for Serenity. He’s designed the logos for several YouTube shows including Wil Wheaton’s Table Top. He was also the concept designer on the Super 8 iPhone app. With the news of Joss Whedon creating a S.H.I.E.L.D. TV show for ABC, Levermore has his eye on a job with the production. He’s created a short film in hopes that it will put him on the radar for the position. Check it out after the jump!

S.H.I.E.L.D.E.D. is basically, as Levermore states, an “absurdly over-the-top job application” to show off his graphic design skills. Everything from the signs on the doors to the papers in the folders, were made by Levermore. He’s even got some celebrities such as Grant Imahara from Mythbusters and Amber Benson of Buffy The Vampire Slayer fame, to make cameos. Be sure to watch through the credits…

Levermore is definitely talented and hopefully he gets the job! You can check out more of his work here. What did you think of this short? Let us know in the comments below!
