Trailers Weekly: “That Awkward Moment”, “Non-Stop”, “The Grand Budapest Hotel”, “Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones”, “Frozen” Michael Lee, October 19, 2013October 19, 2013 Trailers Weekly is a feature in which we bring you the most popular and talked about trailers of the week. Sharing trailers is a classic viral practice, and trailers are still the most mainstream way for people to learn about movies. We’ve got trailers from That Awkward Moment, Non-Stop, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones and Frozen hit the jump to see them all. That Awkward Moment Zac Efron, Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan star in this romantic comedy about three guys all in relationships coming to that point of “where is this all going?” The black list script written and directed by Tom Gormican, will open in theaters on January 31, 2014. Non-Stop At this point we should just consider whatever Liam Neeson action film he does from here on out will follow some sort of taken plotline. In Non-Stop, Neeson plays an U.S. Air Marshall overseeing a flight, who is told that if he doesn’t wire a large amount of cash, one person will die very 20 minutes. The twist, the money has to be wired to his account. Danger, Anxious and untrustworthy passengers are also aboard this flight. Julianne Moore also stars. Non-Stop opens in theaters February 28. The Grand Budapest Hotel Wes Anderson‘s The Grand Budapest Hotel recounts the adventures of Gustave H, a legendary concierge at a famous European hotel between the wars, and Zero Moustafa, the lobby boy who becomes his most trusted friend. Starring Ralph Fiennes, F. Murray Abraham, Edward Norton, Mathieu Amalric, Saoirse Ronan, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Léa Seydoux, Jeff Goldblum, Jason Schwartzman, Jude Law, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel, Tom Wilkinson, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and introducing Tony Revolori. Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones Same Paranormal Activity. Same use of found footage. Different language. That’s all Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones really is. There is even a nod to Katie and Christy, the sisters from the first two films in the series. The film will be geared more toward the Hispanic demographic, although at this point, I don’t know what good that will do for a spinoff film like this one. Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones opens in theaters on January 3, 2014. Frozen In case you missed it, we posted an update from Disney regarded the statements made by head of animation Lino DiSalvo. Elsa (Idina Menzel), who is cursed with ice powers since birth, is exiles herself to a far mountain, accidentally sets off a curse of eternal snow. Now its up to her sister Anna (Kristen Bell) to stop it and bring her home safety. This is the first of the three trailers to feature original songs composed by Bobby and Kristen Lopez. Frozen opens in theaters November 27. Which was your favorite? Do you agree with the Internet buzz?
