“Godzilla” Trailer: You’re Hiding Something Out There Michael Lee, February 25, 2014February 25, 2014 So after a couple of small viral campaigns to drive up some anticipation, Warner Bros. has released the first full trailer for Godzilla. Hit the jump to see it. The trailer gives a litte more back story as to why Godzilla is here and how it came to be. With so called “tests” as fronts when actually they were trying to kill an animal. It seems that Bryan Cranston is the only person who knew that this would happen, and no on listened. The trailer doesn’t show us much of the iconic cinematic beast, which I tend to favor since trailers do a great job of spoiling the movie even before it comes out. So what now? Will we see any more viral campaigns launched? Guess we will have to find out. Directed by Gareth Edwards, and starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, David Strathairn, and more, Godzilla opens in theaters on May 23.An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.Gareth Edwards directs “Godzilla,” which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Kick-Ass”), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (“The Last Samurai,” “Inception”), Elizabeth Olsen (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (“The English Patient,” “Cosmopolis”), and Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck.,” “The Bourne Legacy”) and Bryan Cranston (“Argo,” TV’s “Breaking Bad”).
