Who says June is too early for Halloween?
For many, excitement for Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights starts as soon as the day after the current one ends. Fans begin to speculate what John Murdy (Hollywood’s creative director) and Co. will bring the following October for the whole year in between. And for the recent incarnations of Universal’s Halloween event, Murdy has interacted with the fanbase via twitter to drop hints and answer questions about all things HHN.
This morning, @HorrorNights kicked off it’s maze announcements on twitter with the reveal of the first maze to hit both Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando. For the third consecutive year AMC’s The Walking Dead will take-over the backlot with “Welcome to The Walking Dead: End of the Line” inspired by season four of the hit show. Hints were dropped yesterday to keep fans guessing but this one was a no-brainer as the Walking Dead is pretty much the most popular monster inspired show on television.
More information on the maze was revealed via Murdy’s tweets.

Now for those who are walker groaning at the thought of more Walking Dead, don’t fret. Seems it’s the only returning maze.

What horror properties do you wanna see at Universal?
Last year Orlando got Cabin in the Woods so it totally counts as never been featured at Hollywood’s HHN.
