20th Century Fox launching a full scale marketing blitz for David Fincher‘s Gone Girl, starring Ben Affleck and Rosemund Pike. Just days after Nine Inch Nail’s Trent Reznor released a tease of the Gone Girl soundtrack online, NPR has released the full soundtrack for your streaming pleasure. Also Fox has released the first clip from the high anticipated film featuring Affleck and Pike having a friendly conversation. But we all know it will lead to something much more than that. First the clip, in it we see Nick (Ben Affleck) and Amy (Rosamund Pike) meeting each other for the first time at what looks like a party. The clip seems sweet at first, but based on the previous trailers, we will be venturing into a dark murder mystery. Hit the jump to check it out.
Now for the Soundtrack. It’s very exciting to get to early the soundtrack for the film this early and weeks before the film’s initial release. Gone Girl marks the third collaboration between David Fincher and Trent Reznor, following The Social Network and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, with the former winning an Academy Award for Best Soundtrack, and the latter winning a Grammy. Now the soundtrack isn’t embeddable, but you can listen to it on NPR.
Also starring Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, Carrie Coon, and more, Gone Girl opens in theaters on October 3.
