Viral Video Round Up: The Simpsons, Director Tributes, Boston Movie, Black Swan, Tron Legacy, Angry Birds, The Big Lebowski, and More!

Dan Koelsch, March 29, 2011March 29, 2011

The Internet is full of videos related to movies, whether they be fan made, studio made, or somewhere inbetween. We regularly bring you the best, most interesting, or just plain weirdest, and today we do it again. Check out the latest viral videos after the break.

Freddie25, YouTube singer of many medleys in the past, has now created a medley of songs featured in the perennial animated show The Simpsons.

Funny or Die set out to prove “Boston is such an incredible city and is in basically every movie that it needed a movie of its own.” It’s basically a mash-up of almost every movie set in Boston and starring mostly Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

In a video that was ironically posted to Funny or Die just before the dancer body double controversy, comedian Todd Barry admits he was the original focus of Black Swan, as a continuation of his character from director Darren Aronofsky’s (who cameos here) The Wrestler.

I love it when a character says the title of the movie, no matter how cheesy it is. Fortunately, I’m not the only one, as UK YouTuber honsco created a montage of just such occasions.

Pixar animator Nick Pitera has made a name for himself singing on YouTube with a wide voice range. Now he has created a medley of famous Disney songs and sings them all by himself. Check it out below, and see a mash-up of the video with the songs themselves here.

After seeing a remix of the viral sensation music video “Friday” by Rebecca Black that used footage of the urban classic Friday, we now have one that features Friday the 13th. Like Jason himself, this song will never die.
