Trailers Weekly: I’m Still Here, Dylan Dog: Dead of Night, and Black Swan Dan Koelsch, August 22, 2010August 22, 2010 Trailers Weekly is a feature in which we bring you the most popular and talked about trailers of the week. Sharing trailers is a classic viral practice, and trailers are still the most mainstream way for people to learn about movies. This week we have the return of Joaquin Phoenix, Brandon Routh trying to live down Superman Returns, and Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman make out. I’m Still Here (September 10, 2010)It’s still unclear whether Casey Affleck’s film starring Joaquin Phoenix is a documentary or mockumentary, but at least we know it’s coming soon. Watch Phoenix act (?) weird and piss people off in the first trailer below. Dylan Dog: Dead of Night (2010/2011)Based off the Dark Horse comic series, DD: DON is about a private detective who deals in the supernatural. Brandon Routh plays the title character Dylan Dog, and we have the sales trailer for the film below, which is still looking for a US distributor. Black Swan (December 1, 2010)Darren Aronofsky’s latest WTF film (see: The Fountain) is about a ballet dancer, Natalie Portman, whose rise to success is challenged by another dancer, Mila Kunis, as well as some interesting physical transformations. Check out the first trailer for the film below, complete with lesbianism. There were also some good trailers for Gareth Edwards’ Monsters, Wes Craven’s My Soul to Take, Vanishing on 7th Street, and Doug Liman’s Fair Game, so check them all out at Trailer Addict. What did you think of this week’s trailers? Of course, every week there are a lot more trailers, teasers, TV spots, and clips that we can’t cover, so go to TrailerAddict.com to see your favorites, and to watch at least some of the ones above in High Definition.
