“Where Will You Be When It Happens?” – A Cryptic “Fringe” Countdown

Caleb Hamilton, March 29, 2011March 29, 2011

Late last week, FOX renewed J.J. Abrams’ sci-fi hit Fringe, which was on the verge of being cancelled since its shift to Friday nights. Luckily, fans continued to watch and the show hit a creative goldmine. The third season of Fringe is nearly over and a recently aired promo reveals a very mysterious countdown. Read on to find out more!

Watching closely toward the end of the promo below, you can see quick blips of numbers. For a split second at the very end a time is revealed: 6:02 A.M.

Not much is known right now about exactly when the countdown ends. It can be assumed, however, that the time is 6:02 AM EST (Eastern Standard Time), as the series takes place in Boston, Massachusetts and the surrounding areas. Fringe fans may guess that 6:02 A.M. may be the time that one of the two universes will be destroyed. Whenever the countdown ends, whatever the outcome, “where will you be when it happens?”

All new episodes of Fringe return April 15th at 9 PM on FOX.
