Exclusive: “Find Me Event” Starts to Unveil the Grand Design

Zach Oldenburg, October 12, 2011October 18, 2011

You guys remember the article we did on Find Me Event, right? It’s the alternate reality game where the viewer helps free a prisoner from the clutches of the evil Architect. Well, the day of reveal is almost upon us and we’re now starting to put the pieces of the mystery together. To see what Find Me Event is all about, hit the jump.

Find Me Event is an ARG (alternate reality game) launching this October, where the viewer must solve riddles, decode cryptic puzzles, and piece together clues to help find the location of a certain missing someone. This real-time event allows you to communicate via social networks with the characters. You yourself become part of this living, breathing horror story. I won’t give away too much, but I had a chance to talk with the project’s creator, and let me say that Find Me Event is something you’re really gonna wanna look out for.

Now that you’re all caught up to speed from our first article, I will now begin with what new information we’ve been given.

Just recently, the Architect released a video message that includes a very awesome demonstration of what the actual game will look like. This video confirms what we posted earlier about how the viewer will guide the prisoner through his or her potential escape with text messages, phone calls, and webcam feeds.

In addition to the video, you can head to the Architect’s Facebook page, where he’s posted quite a few updates:

That status was posted earlier today, which means that this Friday we’ll get a treat like nothing we’ve seen yet… the abduction video!! You heard it here first, guys. And for the delicious, blood red icing on the horror cake, you’ll be able to see that abduction video exclusively through MovieViral.com! Is your head about to explode, too, or is it just mine?

Until Friday hits, I suggest you guys head to the links below. All these links will keep you in the Find Me Event loop.
