To celebrate, AMC and Facebook are giving you the chance to create an avatar to insert into the Walking Dead universe in a new, interactive app. To see my avatar and what went into making it, hit the jump. If you’ve got a Facebook, I highly suggest you check this out. You start off by choosing your side, which is either a survivor or zombie:It’s from there that you get into full customization. You choose your eye color, your hair color, the position of your facial hair (if you’re male), the color of your shirt, shoes, pants, the shape and breakdown of your nose, and even the thickness of your brows. This app is asking me to give it permission to post to Facebook AS ME! What exactly does that mean? Because it says part of that deal is being able to post to my wall and the walls of my friends “on my behalf.” …?
It just means that if you choose to share your photo, the app has the permission to post it on your wall. It’s not going to put statuses like “hey guys, I’m a dumbass”. It’s just going to link itself with your Facebook. I did it, and trust me, it’s legit.
