Just a few weeks later, we now have the first video blog from director Sam Mendes, which you can watch after the break. Fortunately, the studio was able to survive and get the film made in time for a November 9th, 2012 release. In the video below, watch Mendes talk about what brought him to the famed series, as well as how this film marks a first for him. Hopefully we’ll see more of these videos, like we have seen with director Peter Jackson and the Lord of the Rings series. Follow Skyfall on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
