The Rising Tide Wants to Know What “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Are Hiding Caleb Hamilton, May 12, 2013May 12, 2013 Last week, a strange, very brief viral video teasing Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. made the rounds on the internet, showing footage of a Hulk-like creature wreaking havoc on a city street. However, a mysterious “Rising Tide” watermark was front and center and at the time none of the domains Disney purchased using the “Rising Tide” name were operational…until tonight. So exactly what is The Rising Tide and what do they have to do with S.H.I.E.L.D.? Find out after the jump!This weekend, ABC picked up Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and released a short teaser via Vine (which you can see below) ahead of a full spot that aired during the season finale of Once Upon A Time tonight. Also during the finale, a viral site went live, using one of the domains we included in our article on Thursday.The Rising Tide wants to know who S.H.I.E.L.D. is and what they are hiding. Since the events of The Avengers, the world knows that aliens and superheroes exist and Rising Tide just wants to know “what else is out there.” The organization posts viral videos featuring footage of superheroes in action and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in the field, but someone is taking them down. One of the videos has been pulled, presumably by S.H.I.E.L.D. and replaced with a blank space.You can help uncover the truth by sharing their blog postings in your favorite social networks.
