“Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes” Plague Inc. Game Let’s You Infect The World With The Simian Flu Michael Lee, July 23, 2014July 23, 2014 Briefly: Plague Inc. is a fun game that allows the player to infect the world with various forms of infection, bacteria, viruses that grows from a simple pathogen into a killer Plague. Different types of infection are different levels of difficulty. Depending on what the players have chosen, they mutate the Plague’s wide variety of symptoms (like stomach flu, brain damange, paralysis) and transmission (sneezes, birds, blood transfusion), as well as protection against weather, medications, or antibodies. Now with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes being the number one movie, and going into its second week at the movies, Plague Inc has added the Simiman Flu as one of the choices of Plagues to kill humans with. I could see this this game being another marketing tie-in with The Strain as well, but so far there is no confirmation of that. Here’s the link to the game’s website and Simian flu update.Directed by Matt Reeves, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes stars Jason Clarke, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Kodi Smit-McPhee, with motion capture performances by Andy Serkis and more. The film is out in theaters now.A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
