“Prometheus” Viral: Weyland Industries Studies Noomi Rapace’s Face Michael Lee, May 16, 2012May 19, 2012 Amidst of all the spoilery Prometheus TV spots and trailers, there lies a viral campaign that is being used lightly but quite effectively. It all started off with the incredible Peter Weyland speech at TEDTALK 2023, but the last time we saw some real meaty viral activity was when Weyland posted a video for the new David 8 Android. Now the campaign has taken a turn to the humans, this newest entry in the Prometheus viral campaign centers on Noomi Rapace’s character pleading to the head of Weyland Industries, Peter Weyland, to commission an expedition to answer life’s biggest question. Hit the jump to see the video.The video is pretty much self-explanatory, but the best thing about it is that it is not spoilery, unlike its TV spot brothers that flood the NBA playoffs during timeouts.
