First Surrogates Trailer Hits The Web

Dan Koelsch, May 21, 2009April 10, 2010

MySpace has the first official trailer for Surrogates, one of the films for which we’re covering their viral campaign. Check it out below.

This trailer actually makes me pretty excited for the movie. I’ve always thought it was a cool idea, but a lot of people thought it wouldn’t be pulled off well. The trailer gives me more hope.

So, what did you think? Leave your opinion in the comments.

    That looks REALLY good.

Did I mention Bruce is my hero?

Bruce is the man. This looks so cool.

So far, I’m very surprised that Disney did this. Maybe they are branching out.

Looked mediocre in the cinema. Trailer was well cut though.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks very bleh?

  6. Scott says:

Action looked great. And come on, that scene where all of the surrogates “turned off”…..

    Awesome.

Looked like a scene from The Happening lol.

  8. Scott says:

Luckily for Disney, no one watched The Happening! Hay-o!

Looks like the trailer will help the film because it’s going to end up meh. Like GI Joe lol

Dude how can you watch this and not think it looks cool?

  11. Scott says:
    May 22, 2009 at 3:47 pm

You’re meh. :sidelook: That’s two films I’ve discussed and you turned both into a “GI Joe is gunna suck” article.

Anywho, this movie will do well. It’s Bruce Willis.

It just looks cheesy. Yes, Disney is trying to ‘expand’ I guess but it still has a DISNEY feel to it.

  13. Dan says:
    May 22, 2009 at 3:48 pm

how does it look cheesy? the premise alone makes me have a nerdgasm

  14. Ian says:
    May 22, 2009 at 3:50 pm

Idk, maybe it’s just me, but some of the scenes seem off. Maybe because it’s a Disney movie with this hardcore action shit in it lol.

Looks cheesy. I agree with Ian. Doesn’t appeal to me. It’s Live Free Or Die Hard + I, Robot and Micheal Bay action scenes = meh
