Piranha 3D Footage Needs To Be Taken Down

Scott Caldwell, July 31, 2010September 3, 2010

You would think that a title like that would proclaim my love for new footage and excitement, and how bootlegged footage like the one from Thor, or the phony tracks from Tron: Legacy should have no place in this world. One can also look at that statement to remove the footage you are about to see, as well as the film that goes along with it. I’m sorry, but when the Weinsteins’ decided to remove Piranha 3D from the Comic-Con halls, they should have removed it from the sight off all that go see it.

Bootlegs are bad. That is what a lot of sites will tell you. But bootlegs also become viral, and get you discussing the film it’s attached to. However for the case of Piranha 3D, I am blatantly coming out to say that this is the worst leaked footage I have ever seen. I am surprised that whomever boosted it kept taping. They should catch this person, and not only arrest them for this violation, but make them sit through this film.

We have covered viral for this film, and it was going well. It had videos from the cast as their characters, it had boobs, and it had fake adds, such as the greats like Slusho!

But! I am wiping this film from MovieViral’s list. No longer will we cover this film, in anyway shape or form. This is the last article you will see for Piranha 3D. Forgive me for you are about to see (NSFW).

Go ahead and tell us what YOU think. I’m pretty sure we already know. Sorry.

Apparently Eli Roth and Jerry O'Connell portray characters that fall victim to their vices. Nature seems to revolt against man's most primal urges in this tragic drama. Lord, what fools these mortals be!

If you really don't wanna see this one, just skip it and go to Scott Pilgrim while it's in theaters. Don't bother boycotting a movie that's not important.

Don't be such a drama queen, it doesn't look that bad. It looks campy and kind of silly, like a modern-day 80's horror movie.

I think I'm the only one of the MV staff that likes this film.

I think this is the worst thing I've ever seen. And I've seen The Invention of Lying.

Speaking as a former trial writer for this site, I agree BIG TIME with Scott and Nick. This looks like absolute S**T! The scenes are randomly spliced together for the reel and the gore and nudity is WAY too over-the-top. This looks like the kind of film I'd expect ELI ROTH to make, only WORSE! (And yes, I know that Roth didn't direct this, though he will have a cameo role)Alexandre Aja should be ASHAMED that he's made such as trashy, looking film, and I hope he gets banned from doing anything else after this. This looks like a complete bomb just WAITING to happen. I don't think even Christopher Lloyd's minor role here can't save this movie!

This clip makes the movie look much better than any trailer or publicity stills from the film. I am sure this is a planned leak. I can honestly see how people might not like this film, but your reaction is total fail and destroys any credibility this site has as a movie site. Sorry I visited here, I won;t be back

OH MY GOD! Was this trailer made by a thirteen year old? I'm sorry but the trailer for Airbender was better put together. I actually had to fast forward because I lost interest in the first five seconds of it. This thing is going to flop or be added next to the movie Snakes on a Plane which is now in the $4.99 bin at Wal-Mart.

If the movie is anything like the trailer, then you will see it soon enough on the SyFy channel as a rerun that nobody will want to watch. Reading the comments below, I am sure I am going to get attacked for this comment. But come on, if you have to show nudity in your trailer to get people's attention then you know it is a awful movie.

He doesn't represent everyone of the MV staff opinion actually, but with the debut around the corner and inactivity of the viral, its not a priority,
