Marvel to Launch “Avengers Alliance” Facebook Game Caleb Hamilton, January 9, 2012January 9, 2012 Today, Marvel Entertainment announced it will be launching a massive, combat role-playing Facebook game featuring many of their most iconic heroes and villains. Marvel: Avengers Alliance follows an original storyline in the Marvel Universe, created specifically for the game. We’ve got more information and some pics of gameplay from the game after the jump!Marvel: Avengers Alliance takes place after “The Pulse”, a galaxy-wide disaster that exposes Manhattan to attacks from some of Marvel’s most powerful villains. As a player, you will be recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. to assemble and lead a team of Avengers to keep New York City safe from super villains such as Dr. Doom, Loki and the Green Goblin.
