Marvel to Launch “Avengers Alliance” Facebook Game Caleb Hamilton, January 9, 2012January 9, 2012 Today, Marvel Entertainment announced it will be launching a massive, combat role-playing Facebook game featuring many of their most iconic heroes and villains. Marvel: Avengers Alliance follows an original storyline in the Marvel Universe, created specifically for the game. We’ve got more information and some pics of gameplay from the game after the jump!Marvel: Avengers Alliance takes place after “The Pulse”, a galaxy-wide disaster that exposes Manhattan to attacks from some of Marvel’s most powerful villains. As a player, you will be recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. to assemble and lead a team of Avengers to keep New York City safe from super villains such as Dr. Doom, Loki and the Green Goblin. To sign up for the beta, you must like the Marvel: Avengers Alliance page on Facebook.
