Final “X-Men: Days Of Future Past” Trailer Finally Sees Mutants Fighting Sentinels Michael Lee, April 15, 2014April 17, 2014 After some truly astonishingly weird Carl’s Jr. ads, and an wonderful viral marketing campaign, Fox has released one final trailer for X-Men: Days Of Future Past. And it is a pretty exciting trailer, especially since the last few felt lackluster. You know the story, the war between mutants and humans has reached the breaking point. There will be humans fighting mutants, mutants fighting Sentinels, and much more. Hit the jump to see the full trailer. If you haven’t seen the Carl’s Jr. ad where QuickSilver (Evan Peters) is using his powers, then consider yourself lucky, because you get to see him use his powers and not try to sell you something. But if you have been keeping track of the viral marketing campaign, you’ll see X-Men characters from the original trilogy involved major historical events. So the time travel theme in the film will allow the mutants of the future to interact with their past counterparts, which could in turn alter history itself. It should be interesting to see if there will be any more viral marketing updates in the future. Here’s the full trailer. Also starring Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Peter Dinkalge, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters, Omar Sy, Fan Bingbing, Booboo Stewart, Adan Canto, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, Shawn Ashmore, Daniel Cudmore, Lucas Till, and Josh Helman, X-Men: Days Of Future Past opens in theaters on May 23.The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.
